Are you ready to eat?
Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! Enjoy!

Baked Orange Chicken
A classic take-out dish that you can make at home! These crispy, crunchy pieces of breaded chicken, doused with a citrusy, tangy, with just the right amount of heat, orange sauce, this version has all the orangey goodness you wish your take-out had! Plus, by baking the chicken, this is a healthier option than the fried one you’d get from take-out. This is sure to be a dinnertime favorite!
German Goulash
Although goulash originated in Hungry, Germany has adapted an equally tasty version of it, minus the potatoes. This recipe brings back memories of my German uncle cooking goulash in a massive cauldron for the whole family. It’s got a kick with the paprika, but I like my goulash a tad spicier, so I’ve included a pinch of cayenne and red pepper flakes. This stew is sure to warm you up on even the coldest days!
Foil-Baked Asian Salmon Bowl with Mango and Greens
I am a big fan of these types of bowls as they are healthy, fresh, and great for portion control! Plus, you can include, or exclude, whatever you like, so it’s a great option for pickier eaters! The foil-baked salmon makes the prep and clean up super easy. So, pop the salmon in the oven, get the rice started, and, while everything is cooking, prep your garnishes for a delicious meal that’s ready in no time!
Red Lentil and Turmeric Soup
On these cold, wintery days a good soup is a must! Best of all, this recipe is vegan, so whether you follow a vegan diet or, like me, you’re an omnivore who watches how much meat they eat, this recipe is for everyone! The blend of spices in this soup is so flavorful and glowing that, once cooked through, it’s sure to bring warmth to your table even on the greyest, coldest days!
Red-Wine Poached Pears
These poached pears are not only easy to make, but exquisitely decadent and truly elegant, that are sure to impress everyone you make them for! And who doesn’t enjoy a boozy dessert! The main thing you need for these is time, but they are also very easy to make ahead of time!
Turmeric Chicken Gyro
A fun twist on a classic! By marinating the chicken in a turmeric spice blend, you add an additional layer of flavors to your gyros that’s absolutely amazing! Grab a pita and fill it with the freshly grilled turmeric chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and tzatziki for a real dinner-time winner!
Slow-Cooked Carnitas Tacos with Homemade Guacamole and Pico de Gallo
These might look like simple tacos, but there’s nothing simple about them! Pork shoulder that’s been slow cooked until tender enough to shred and then fried in its own juice to give it that signature crisp! All paired with a fresh homemade Pico de Gallo and topped with a creamy guacamole will show you just how quickly people can eat tacos because these will go fast!
Thai Chicken Curry (Chicken Khao Soi)
If you’re out of ideas when it comes to soup, look no further! This Thai soup is bursting with flavor: a soothing, warm base of coconut milk and chicken broth, fresh notes from cilantro, onions, and bean sprouts, paired with spiciness from the from the chiles. Slurp it all up with egg noodles and chicken, for good measure. This is a soup everyone is sure to love!
Spicy Korean Stir Fried Squid
A truly unique dish for those adventurous enough to try! If you like squid/calamari and spiciness, this dish is for you! And if you can find whole squid, the process of gutting and cleaning the squid makes this dish all the more memorable. The veggies add the classic stir-fry elements which is then topped with a spicy, sweet, and beautifully fragrant paste!
Garlic-Brown Sugar Pork Tenderloin with Grilled Onions
Pork and mustard are a match made in heaven! Add some brown sugar for that kick of sweetness and you’re in business! For this recipe, I like to reverse sear the pork tenderloin to give it a nice brown crust. Pair with some grilled onions and a veggie side and you’ve got yourself a deliciously fun meal!
Coconut-Crusted Tilapia with Pomegranate Salsa
A delicious way to start the New Year off in a healthy way! This recipe is both keto-friendly and gluten free! It's a meal bursting with bright flavors, healthy, and easy to make. What’s not to love about that!

You can’t beat a combination like that!
German Cheese Spaetzle (Käsespätzle) with Caramelized Onions
After meats and sausages, Spaetzle might be the third most well-known food from Germany. They are irregularly shaped, thin, long noodles that you’ll find in most restaurants. Usually served with meat and brown sauce, an equally delicious version with melted cheese exists that I’ll share with you! Top with caramelized onions and you’ve got an amazing dish that’ll be gone in no time!
Meringue Peaks with Walnuts
At Christmas time, these are cookies my family always makes. It’s a basic French meringue with delicious, finely chopped walnuts to add a slight bite to an otherwise soft, chewy, sweet meringue! These are gluten free, so an added bonus for anyone who can’t have gluten. These meringues are sure to be a winner!
Thai Beef Salad with Homemade Crisps
This a both a delicious salad and a fun way to use up leftover dumpling wrappers! The salad is everything you want from a Thai salad: fresh flavors, with a citrus tang, and a bright spiciness! Topped with a marinated steak and homemade crisps, using leftover dumping wrappers (that may not make it to the salad because they’re so addicting to snack on!), this salad is sure to be a big hit!
Mediterranean Bowl with Spiced Ground Lamb and Cumin Rice
When you’re craving a healthy Mediterranean bowl, but want to try your hand at recreating one that many fast-casual restaurants now serve, this is the perfect recipe! Pumpkin Pie Sponge Cake with Apple Cider Caramel and Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting
In the fall, we all love our pumpkin pies and apple pies, but this cake is the perfect way to mix up your fall cake options! Two delicious pumpkin pie sponges separated by a layer of perfectly smooth and creamy vanilla cream cheese frosting. But the secret ingredient in this cake is the apple cider caramel! No added sugar, just apple cider reduced to a caramel with a little butter, that is drizzled between sponge layers. So we’re talkin’ pumpkin, apple cider, and vanilla all in one bite!
